First Love

I've decided to challenge the love of the father. Within our table, we've decided that he may not actually be in love. In my opinion, his feelings range from curiosity to protection to a thrill. When he first meets her, he suddenly changes. This could be out of obvious attraction to her or apprehension to what makes him want to act different. He continues to meet her despite his son's feelings because, it's an excitement. He knows its based on a thrill that he can't control. Him leaving protection to her could be out of the fact that they have become friends. We automatically assume it's love because it is what Vladimir sees it as. I don't quite think they are in love.
