Russian World!!

привет,

The Russian flag and map! Witty huh?
I never thought I'd be taking Russian Literature at Rabun Gap but, here it is. The most interesting course in the English department. The course will consist of learning more about Russia as a whole but, with a twist built in. Our first book is called Onegin. Written in 1833 by Alexander Pushkin. The first story is about a young man who comes off as a person who enjoys life. He lives the life style of the rich and famous but, in reality his father was just the opposite, a debtor. Yet, he does not want to accept this fact. The characterization isn't shown much within the story. It is more implied than direct. Overall, I enjoyed parts of the Book I of Onegin. Hopefully it stays that way! Welcome to Russian Literature. Onegin!!! (Exciting)
